This month’s tool will not be much of a surprise to faculty who have been in the course development process for teaching online programs at The University of Montana. For several semesters now, faculty have used this tool to host live, same-time office hours, provide feedback on course content and facilitate collaborative activities among students. It is one of the leading providers of synchronous Web conferencing and has recently launched a collaborative professional development initiative – Learn Central. Not much of mystery either if you have been following recent posts. Stay tuned for an introduction to the system and research to support its use in online programs.
