Throughout spring semester, Study Jam will be available at the UC Commons. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30, the UC Commons will be open with study group tables staffed by professional tutors in various subject areas, including Statistics (Math 241), Spanish (101, 102, 201, 202), Chemistry (151, 152, 161, 162), Biology (100, 108), Economics (111 and 112) and Physics (121, 122). The Writing Center
To help students as they work on any writing assignment and at all stages of their writing processes, The Writing Center offers free one-to-one writing tutoring. Open most days 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM, The Writing Center provides by-appointment tutoring in LA 144 and in the Mansfield Library. To make an appointment, go to www.umt.edu/writingcenter .
Students may also drop in for free writing tutoring at STUDY JAM in the UC Commons. The Writing Table at STUDY JAM is available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 6:30-9:00pm. No appointment necessary!

Math Pilot
Math PILOT is a joint venture of the Office of the Provost, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Department of Mathematical Sciences. Its goal is to improve student performance in 100-level mathematics at The University. Math PiLOT offers day and night drop-in tutoring, placement testing, and individual counseling for the struggling math student.
