This Sunday’s possible power outage in the Social Science building will not impact campus network services. However, since some IT web servers are housed on the first floor of the Social Science building, as a precautionary measure, IT will bring down these servers Sunday morning between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. This means that some web services will be impacted. If you attempt to access an IT-hosted web service or website during this time and are unable to do so, it may be related to this outage. Here are several services that will be unavailable:
- OneStop announcement feeds
- Access to the following websites:
- Ask an Alum
- Western MT Volunteers
- Student Jobs
- Faculty Senate
- Diversity site (connect.umt.edu)
- Blackberry service (users have been notified)
- Blogs & Wikis
- UM campus map
- UM News and Events
- Select Survey
- AV requests
