Wednesday, December 12th, 2007When was the last time you changed your NetID password? Login to OneStop to set up a security question/answer and change your password. Once you do this, you will have 24/7 access to change/reset your password online. The NetID and password give you access to: GrizMail (students), Blackboard, OneStop, remote library resources, wireless, VPN, and the IT computer labs.
Online phone/email directory – check it out!
Friday, December 7th, 2007With the University of Montana’s online phone/email directory, you can search for students, faculty, and staff by name or browse faculty and staff members by department. Go to UM’s home page, click on Directory (located next to the Search field in the upper right corner of the page) and search by name or by department. If you haven’t used this directory, try it out. It’s a great resource!
Telephone switch upgrade: Sunday, December 16; 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Thursday, December 6th, 2007There will be an upgrade of the campus telephone switch on Sunday, December 16. This means that campus will be without telephone service from 6am until approximately 12 noon. One Qwest phone line, 543-9447, in the Office of Public Safety, will be available for incoming and outgoing emergency calls during this phone outage. This activity will not impact data network or any vendor interface; it is specifically a telephone switch upgrade.
