UM Campus Community: DEX Telephone directories will be delivered early next week (Feb 26 and 27). Typically the books for a building are delivered to a first floor copy room or main office. These books are for all departments in the building.

Friday, February 23rd, 2007Internet network outage – Wednesday morning
Tuesday, February 20th, 2007There will be a campus network outage tomorrow morning between 6:00am and 6:30am (Wednesday 2/21/07) that will affect Internet access at all UM campuses. During this brief outage, there will no Internet or Internet 2 connectivity. We apologize for the short notice of this outage. However, it is necessary to replace some essential hardware that is not functioning properly as soon as possible. No internal networks will be affected and all intercampus communication will continue to function as normal. Additional Notes: This will NOT affect the Dorms in Missoula, Dillon and Butte; Montana Tech will lose connectivity with the Billings outpost; Lubrecht Forest will lose connectivity as well; All incoming VPN connections (for remote users) will be lost during this time as well. We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause.

Web strategic planning initiative announced
Tuesday, February 13th, 2007A campus-wide web strategic planning initiative will kickoff February 28th and March 1st with students, faculty, staff and administrators engaging in a process to define priorities and goals for the delivery of web-based information and services at UM. The initial planning sessions will be from 1-5 p.m. on February 28th, and from 8 a.m.
