Jennifer Isern ‘89, Washington, D.C., graduated in March 2008 with a doctorate in business administration specializing in international management from Nova Southeastern University. For her dissertation, she researched competition in banking sectors in more than 180 countries and analyzed the competitive effects of mobile banking and financial infrastructure such as payment systems and credit bureaus. Jennifer continues to work at the World Bank focusing on financial sector development, especially in Africa and China, although she works globally.
This fall, she is teaching a graduate-level course on financial sector development at the Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. (10/18/08)
